TradesHub terms of use

The agreement that applies when you create an account and use TradesHub.

1. About these terms

These terms form an agreement between you and Jhivan Tayar, trading as Ardivann Studios, the UK-based operator of TradesHub. By creating an account or using TradesHub, you agree to these terms and the privacy notice.

TradesHub is a business-organisation tool for independent tradespeople. It helps manage customers, jobs, appointments, quotes, invoices, notifications and related business information.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement.
  • You must provide accurate account details and keep them reasonably current.
  • You are responsible for protecting your device and sign-in credentials.
  • Your account is for your own business use and must not be sold or transferred without permission.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Business records and customer information

You control the business and customer information you enter. You must have a lawful reason to collect and use it, give customers any privacy information the law requires, and avoid entering information that is unnecessary for your work.

TradesHub assists with preparing quotes, invoices and other records but does not provide legal, tax, financial or accounting advice. You are responsible for reviewing names, prices, tax treatment, payment terms, bank details and legal requirements before relying on or sharing a document.

4. Free plan and subscriptions

TradesHub may offer a free plan with usage limits and a paid Pro plan. Current limits and features are shown in the app. Limits may apply to customer creations and to monthly jobs, appointments, quotes, invoices and AI requests.

Android subscriptions are offered and billed through Google Play. The store shows the price, billing period and renewal information before you confirm a purchase. Unless the store says otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through Google Play. Store rules govern billing disputes, refunds and payment methods.

Deleting TradesHub does not cancel a store subscription.

Cancel the subscription in Google Play first if you want to prevent future renewal charges.

5. AI-assisted features

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. It is provided to help draft or organise information, not as professional advice. Review every output before relying on it, sending it to a customer or using it in a business decision. Do not submit secrets or sensitive information that the request does not need.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use TradesHub unlawfully, fraudulently or to harm another person;
  • attempt to access another user's account or records;
  • interfere with security, usage controls, subscription checks or service operation;
  • upload malware or content that infringes another person's rights;
  • use automated methods to overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits it; or
  • use AI functionality to create prohibited, deceptive or unlawful material.

7. Ownership

You retain ownership of the information and branding you enter. You give TradesHub the limited permission needed to host, process, back up and display that information solely to provide and secure the service.

TradesHub's software, visual design, name and original content belong to the operator or relevant licensors. These terms do not transfer those rights to you.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep TradesHub reliable, but internet connections, app stores, cloud providers and device software can cause interruptions. Features may be updated, replaced or withdrawn where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or product development. Material changes affecting paid use will be communicated where required.

Keep independent copies of business information that you cannot afford to lose.

9. Responsibility and liability

TradesHub is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information entered by you, unchecked documents or AI output, third-party outages, or use that breaches these terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or rights that applicable consumer law does not allow to be excluded.

10. Suspension, cancellation and account deletion

You may stop using TradesHub at any time and can permanently delete your account through Account and security. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect the service, comply with law or address a serious breach of these terms.

If you cannot access the app, follow the web account-deletion process.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service and legal requirements develop. The current version and effective date will remain available here. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
